Introducing Bodybuilding Secrets 2.0
Welcome to bodybuilding Secrets 2.0! Yes I have finally left the dark ages and updated this site to a shiny new word press blog with a new theme. This blog has been online since 2005 and I have to admit it was starting to look dated. We still have some work to do with the new design and some of the pages need to be re-edited after the blog migration, but I was so eager to get this online, I just had my blogmaster go ahead and flip the switch today…
Let me know what you think. Just give a click to the like button if you dig it (er, wait a minute, you’re supposed click a digg button if you dig it.. oh DAMN web 2.0 stuff, can never keep it all straight… just click like and leave a comment, okay?)
I’ll be back later this week to conclude the article series on Vince Gironda, which I started last month but never finished (I never did tell you about my Gironda nutrition experiment where I ate 3 dozen whole eggs a day, or about my results on the 8 sets of 8 program (pretty insane!)
Then, in the weeks ahead I have more champion interviews lined up with the world’s top natural bodybuilders, plus I have more killer workouts to share with you (workouts with descriptive names attached like “Armageddon”, or “Destruction” or “Crippler”… maybe even a “Widowmaker” or two!)
On that note, people have been wondering (seriously), since I wrote a fitness / fat loss book for the mass market a couple years ago, and since I was featured in Oprah and all that, whether I was getting “soft.” Ha! Touche’ (you’ll notice however, I intentionally left “as seen in Oprah” OUT of the new website header… is it okay that Men’s Fitness is there or do I have to ditch that one too?)… anyway…
I understand that concern. It’s actually very very true that there are two sides to me and two sides to my business. Rest assured, this site is “the other side” Just picture a little devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other… bodybuilding secrets is the little dude with the pitchfork!
I have no intentions for this site to be anything but hard-core and old-school. I’m going back to and staying with my bodybuilding roots here at Bodybuilding Secrets. A lot of my interests in life seem to wax and wane, but my personal interest in bodybuilding… the fire never goes out.
I plan to stay with same format as I did since 2005 – blogging my own bodybuilding workouts, writing hard-core bodybuilding articles with tips to help you with your bodybuilding workouts, doing interviews with the world’s best drug-free bodybuilders… and having some fun doing it.
If you like the sound of it, I’d appreciate your feedback, so if you have any comments on the new blog and my plan for this blog, please leave a comment below. And if you don’t like it.. well… GET OUT! (try this instead)
That’s all for me today, I’ll be back soon with more insane workouts and other mayhem…
Train hard and expect success!
Tom V.

Tom, this new look is slammin’ man. I love it. Bodybuilding Secrets is a blog that I just keep saying to myself “when is the next one coming out?” The look is very professional and in keeping with your overall brand, which is appropriate. Now I’m going to dig in and enjoy!

“Hard Core, Old School, and staying with the bodybuilding roots ” works for me Tom, this (to) me implies hard, honest work so one can earn their “gains” and keep them after 30 years of natural training. Which just may be the reason I might Eclipse my condition of 1980. And the new site- I like it!
LOVE this! I am digging, tweeting, feedburning and adding this blog to my Google calendar so i can remember to send it a Valentine’s Day card!
Don’t forget us ladies when you are writing about getting hard core in the gym!

Nice clean look, Tom. I’m especially curious to read about the “Widowmaker” workout! And I second Elaine’s comment about us ladies.

Tom at 65 I find my interest in strength training and personal development grows with each day I spend in the gym. I have relied on you for some time to continually improve my routines and to keep them fresh and challenging. Your new format is outstanding and please keep challenging us and motivating us to keep reaching.
A big Hello from the Netherlands, Tom your site looks “GEWELDIG”, it means GREAT. Please share your kodakmoments with us about the dozens a day of eggs method and the 8 sets of 8 reps and the other V.Gironda old school nutrition en training trials & errors.

Excited to see so much activity on this blog! Can’t wait to see more. Definately with Elaine…don’t forget about the ladies who aren’t afraid to lift heavy things!
Tom,
So excited to see the new blog, and thanks for commenting on that whole “going soft” thing. Not that I was ever really worried about Tom Venuto “selling out” but so many fitness experts I have respected in the past went that route and afterwards, it’s so hard to put your faith in them.
I am happy to see that you are staying with your passion and willing to share that with your longtime, loyal fans!
Thanks, Tom!
Cass (a.k.a. CatB)
Looking great tom. Keep up the posts!
